Kathmandu, April 14: Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav has pointed out the need of moving forward by amending the shortcomings of the constitution to further strengthen the federal democratic republic.
The Vice President stated this in a
message of best wishes he issued on the occasion of the New Year 2082 BS today.
In his message, he stressed the need to move ahead by upholding the country's
independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, national unity, independence
and autonomy.
Vice President Yadav has said that
the federal democratic republican system of governance should be used as an
opportunity to make resolve and take a pledge to fulfill the aspirations of
sustainable peace, good governance, development and prosperity by addressing the
diversity and unity that have remained intact in the country for many
years.
"On this occasion, we need to
be determined and committed to work together for Nepal's economic development,
education and health and other sectors," he said, adding that the New Year
should further encourage all to move ahead in the country's prosperity and
development with morality, honesty and hard work. (RSS)
