Anti-republic efforts punishable, CM Pandey warns

Damauli, April 12: Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, Surendra Raj Pandey, has said the federal democratic republic system was established as per the aspirations of citizens. "Any attempts to reverse this system are subject to the consequences," he said. 

During his address to the 33rd establishment day of the Vyas municipality in Damauli today, the Chief Minister said the federal democratic republic is founded on the people's long struggles and sacrifices. He added that there is no alternative to taking the country towards an economic prosperity within from the existing system by ending political instability.  

"The development of nation is possible through collaborations among the three-level of government," he said. 

National Assembly (NA) member Bhagawati Neupane, Gandaki Province Assembly member Jit Prakash Ale, Tanahu's Chief District Officer Shyam Krishna Thapa, District Coordination Committee Chief Shanti Raman Wagle advised the local government to deliver as per the people's expectations and needs.
