Kathmandu, April 11: National Assembly Chairperson Narayan Prasad Dahal has said Nepal should take advantage from the development and prosperity of China.
At Nepal-China Economic and Trade Conference organized here today on the occasion of 70th anniversary of Nepal-China Diplomatic Relations, Chairperson Dahal mentioned that China made drastic progress in economic, social and technology sector and Nepal has wanted to take benefit from it.
He further said both houses of the federal parliament had anonymously passed the laws related to Truth and Reconciliation Commission as well as Commission of Investigation on Enforced Disappeared Persons to conclude the remaining task of the peace process.
"There was no alternative to build a prosperous Nepal and establish political stability to move ahead in the path of socialism. I believe that Nepal will get further support and cooperation from Chinese government on this as past, opined the NA Chair.
He added Nepal has been adhering to One China Principle since establishment of diplomatic relations in 1995 between the two countries in political and official manner and it is still committed to it."
Sharing that both countries have gained many achievements so far in mutual welfare, collaboration and the path of prosperity, Chair Dahal argued that there is remarkable progress in all sectors including trade, infrastructure, energy, tourism and people to people level relations.(RSS)
