Teachers in Malikaarjun receive salary through EFT

Darchula, April 11: Malikaarjun Rural Municipality of Darchula has paid the salaries of teachers and school employees.    

The rural municipality has started paying the salaries of community school teachers and employees working within the municipality on a monthly basis through the Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) system since the month of Magh in the Lunar Calendar.    

The rural municipality chair Hirasingh Dhami said that monthly salary of the teachers have been transferred to their respective bank account.    

Earlier, salaries and allowances were paid on a quarterly basis. From now on, the municipality will pay the salary and allowances to teachers on a monthly basis just like civil servants.    
There are 332 teachers and employees serving 38 community schools in Malikaarjun Rural Municipality. (RSS)
