Private sector demands for rights to do business with security

Kathmandu, Mar. 30: Three different organisations of the private sector have condemned the anarchic activities including vandalism, lootings and other violent acts happened on Friday in the area of Tinkune in Kathmandu.

Issuing separate press statement, the Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) and other organizations have called for assurance of their right to do business in a secured manner.

The FNCCI has deplored the acts of arson and lootings in private media houses, business enterprises, different offices and business activities and has sought compensation for the loss and damage. The FNCCI has stated that attack on public property, arson and lootings and violent protests are condemnable.

Likewise, the FNCCI has urged the stakeholders to ensure security of the public spheres and control such activities.
