By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Mar. 29: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to address the House of Representatives on March 31.
Chief Whip of the CPN-UML, Mahesh Kumar Bartaula, informed that PM Oli will discuss several matters, including the ongoing deadlock in Parliament, the ordinance replacement bills, and the recent dismissal of Kulman Ghising as Managing Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority.
Opposition parties have been obstructing parliamentary sessions for three days, demanding clarification on Ghising's removal. The Prime Minister will also update the House on his upcoming participation in the BIMSTEC conference in Thailand.
The session of the House of Representatives and National Assembly’s session for Friday was adjourned and later postponed for March 30 after the disagreement of the opposition parties.
