Bipin portrays action hero in Karma

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Mar. 24: Actor Bipin Karki takes on an action role for the first time in the film Karma.

Likewise, actor Mukun Bhusal plays a full-fledged villain for the first time. 

Although Bhusal has previously portrayed characters in the grey zone, Karma marks his debut as a completely negative role.

Director Saurav Chaudhary has said that the film will be worth watching as Bipin and Mukun go head-to-head on screen. Both actors are stepping into new territory with Karma, said Chaudhary. 

Since they are typically known for playing positive characters, their clash in Karma has become a subject of curiosity, he added.

The teaser reveals that while Bipin leads the positive characters, Mukun takes charge of the negative ones.

Although Bipin’s action sequences are showcased in the teaser, Mukun’s action scenes are yet to be revealed. According to director Chaudhary, they will be unveiled in the trailer.

Mukun has previously said that Karma stands apart from other recent films in terms of its story, presentation and execution.

He added that the film is completely different from those currently being released.

In Karma, Upasana Singh Thakuri plays opposite Bipin Karki. 

The film also features Mukun Bhusal, Divya Dev, Sarita Giri, Ben Basnet, Sujan Silwal, Anil Budhathoki, Nirmal Sharma and others. 

According to the production team, Karma is set to release on April 11 and will be simultaneously released in Nepal and abroad.

The action-packed film, written by director Chaudhary himself, falls under the drama, suspense, and action genres. The international distribution rights for Karma have been acquired by Seven Seas Cinema.

Choreographed by Kabiraj Gahatraj, the action of the film is directed by Shree Shrestha. Presented by Artistic Entertainment, Karma is produced by Basanta Lamsal.
