Kathmandu, March 14: The Socialist Front is to hold discussions with the intelligentsia and the civil society about the latest political scenario on Saturday.
The 12th central working committee meeting of the Front held at the central office of CPN (Unified Socialist) at Aloknagar today decided this effect.
The Socialist Front is scheduled to hold an interaction with journalists on Saturday itself. The Front also decided to forward political dialogue with political parties and leaders of parties in and out of the parliament, said the Spokesperson of the Nepal Communist Party, Khadga Bahadur Bishwokarma.
He added, "The decision was taken to take extensive political efforts to create an environment to protect national sovereignty and republic and take the journey of socialism ahead with determination."
The meeting also decided to make the protest assembly and mass demonstration fixed for March 28 a success.
Stating that a discussion was held about the country's political situation, he mentioned the meeting drew the conclusion that the country's political situation is becoming more complex due to the demonstration of supporters of the monarchy.
Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', general secretary of the Communist Party of Nepal, Netra Bikram Chand, Chairperson of Nepal Socialist Party, Mahindra Raya Yadav, among others, were present at the meeting. (RSS)
