Kathmandu, March 14: The price of gold has set a new record in the domestic market today. It has increased by Rs 4,000 per tola (11.66 grammes) and reached Rs 174,500 per tola, said the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association.
Gold was traded at Rs 170,500 on
Thursday. According to the Fenegosida, silver is being traded at Rs 2,050 per
tola today.
First Vice-Chairperson of
Fenegosida, Dharma Sundar Bajracharya, said the price of gold has increased due
to increase in value of US dollar as well as the international political
scenario.
Gold is being traded at 2,982 US
Dollars per ounce in the international market today.(RSS)
