Sindhuli, March 1: Minister for Land Management, Cooperative and Poverty Alleviation Balaram Adhikari has said that the government was working to provide land ownership document to the landless people soon.
During a meeting with the office-bearers and members of the Land Related Problem Resolution Commission and cooperative campaigners in Sindhulimadhi today, Minister Adhikari said the government was for managing the landless Dalits, squatters and unmanaged settlements.
On the occasion, he urged the office-bearers and members of the Land Related Problem Resolution Commission, Sindhuli, to expedite the tasks of providing land ownership documents to the landless citizens.
Likewise, Minister Adhikari shared that the government is working to end legal hassles and the ordinance was introduced to fulfill the legal gaps.
Similarly, he asked the members of the commission to work in a way ending the misconception towards the commission.
The commission is not formed to deforest and explore new locations but to create environment for exploring safe sites, according to the minister.(RSS)
