Deuba's Gyalpo Lhosar greetings

Kathmandu, Feb 28: Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that we have the harmonious tradition of respecting every festival celebrating in the country.

In his message on the occasion of the Gyalpo Lhosar today, the NC President said that different ethnic communities have their own unique traditions, custom and festivals adding that Gyalpo Lhosar of the Sherpa community is one of the important festivals of this community living in the country's northern Himalayan region.    

Saying that Nepal is a multiethnic, multicultural, multilingual and multi-religious country, President Deuba has extended best wishes to all Nepalis for their happiness, peace and prosperity on the occasion of Gyalpo Lhosar (New Year).  (RSS)
