Power supply to be disrupted in various locations in Kathmandu today

Kathmandu, Feb.28: Electricity service will be disrupted for more than five hours on Friday in various locations under the Pulchowk Distribution Center in Lalitpur.

Issuing a public notice today, NEA said that the power will be cut from 10 AM to 3 PM today for the purpose of testing and charging the underground transmission line at that location.

According to the authority, electricity will be cut in Lazimpat, Panipokhari and Baluwatar areas served by the Lazimpat Feeder under the  Maharajgunj Distribution Center.

The NEA has apologized for the inconvenience and has also mentioned that if the work is completed before the scheduled time, the power may be restored earlier than planned.
