25 injured in Ilam pick-up accident
Injured undergoing primary treatment at Mai hospital, Ilam.
By Kokila Dhakal, Ilam, Feb 27: At least 25 persons have been injured today
in the pick-up accident at Mai Municipality-1 in Illam district.
The accident occurred while the van was heading to Danabaree from
Mahamai of the same municipality carrying people to attend a function of the
Nepal Magar Association.
Of the 25 injured, 24 have been sent to B and C hospital in Jhapa for further
treatment after primary treatment at Mai hospital in Ilam. According to a local
resident, Bimal Dahal, one injured is being treatment at the Mai hospital while
the condition of 8 injured is said to be serious.
