6.1 ML earthquake jolts Sindhupalchowk, surrounding districts

Kathmandu, Feb 28: An earthquake of local magnitude 6.1 occurred with its epicenter at Bhairabkunda in Sindhupalchowk district this morning, the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center confirmed.     

The Center stated that the earthquake happened at 2:51 am with its shock felt in Kathmandu and surrounding districts.     

The earthquake was realized in the districts of eastern and southern part of Nepal too.(RSS)
