Gautam appointed TRN Managing Editor
By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Feb. 26: Bishnu Prasad Gautam has been appointed acting Managing Editor of The Rising Nepal.
The management of the Gorkhapatra Corporation appointed him to the post effective from February 25.
Hailing from Ilam, Gautam holds Master’s degrees in English Literature and Nepalese History, Culture and Archaeology from Tribhuvan University.
With a Diploma in Development Journalism from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi, India, Gautam joined the English Daily as Assistant Editor in January 1997 and has been working as Chief Reporter since August 2017.
