Bhaktapur, Feb 22: Chairman of the
Nepal Workers and Peasant Party, Narayan Man Bijukchhe, has said the
educational institutions need to produce patriotic students.
Inaugurating the silver jubilee
function of the Khwapa Secondary School run by Bhaktapur municipality here
Friday, Chairman Bijukchhe said only patriotic human resources can take right
stand.
The government should not delay in
providing accreditation for running the Khwapa university, he said, adding that
it is not only the need of Bhaktaur district but of entire country.
"Once the recognition was
given for the Khwapa university, even the students from poor financial
background can be ensured quality education," he asserted. Chairman
Bijukchhe also released a Khowpa journal on the occasion.
On the occasion, Mayor of Bhaktapur
municipality and chairman of the municipality-run colleges and schools, Sunil
Prajapati, argued the municipality-run educational institutions were being
developed as model institutions. The government should be ready to recognize
the establishment of the Khwapa university.
Honesty, disciple and social
responsibility were instilled in the students of the schools and colleges run
by the municipality. (RSS)
