Karnali, Feb 21: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Dr Shekhar Koirala has claimed that good governance has not yet maintained in the country.
In his address to a province gathering 'From aboard to home land' organized by the NC Department of Former Immigrants Coordination in Karnali province capital, Surkhet, Birendranagar, Dr Koirala said through the incumbent government was constituted for good governance itself, the anticipated outcomes have not yet achieved.
He commented that the government did a mistake by introducing ordinance. Dr Koirala, also the central committee member of the NC, said, "It was not good to introduce ordinance in an imprudent manner when there was parliament in place.. Those who are inside and outside the party have been keeping vigilance on the government".
Leader Korala suggested the party to hold its general convention before 2084 BS. The seven-point agreement reached between the ruling parties has not been implemented, he said, blaming the government for its weak performance in keeping good governance and economic improvement.(RSS)
