Japanese ambassador pays courtesy call on DPM Singh

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Feb 21: Ambassador of Japan MADEA Toru paid a courtesy call on the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh on Thursday.

According to the press secretariat of DPM Singh, both held discussions on a wide range of collaboration to upgrade the relationship between Japan and Nepal.   

In the meeting, DPM Singh appreciated the support extended by Japan during natural disasters and helped in the study of earthquake-related risk. The DPM also said that Nepal is looking forward to cooperation in scientific study for urban development. He said Nepal is willing to work with Japan for waste management to ensure environment-friendly urbanization.
