Efforts underway to control fire in Haatiban (Photo Feature)

Kathmandu, Feb.20: The fire that broke out in the Haatiban located in Dakshinkali municipality-4 of Kathmandu on Wednesday evening is still out of control.
The police team of the Area Police Office, Pharping, city police of Dakshinkali municipality, and locals have been mobilized to douse the uncontrollable forest fire.
There has been an effort to control fire with the help of fire engines and water tankers, locals, Nepal Army, Nepal Police, and Nepal Armed Police Force (APF) since yesterday but to no avail.
Locals use fire to make fertilizers to make crops better in the fields.
The police suspect that the fire may have been set by the locals here as well.
