Chair Prachanda inaugurates Helipad and Peace Park in Gulmi

By Tilachan Pandey, Tamghas, Feb.13: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chair and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'  has inaugurated the helipad and Malika Peace Park today. 

Chair Prachanda inaugurated the helipad that is built at Arkhabang of Malika village municipality-4 and Malika Peace Park, a famous tourist spot built in the same ward on Thursday. 

Inaugurating the helipad and park in the presence of public representatives and local citizens including Chairperson of Malika Rural Municipality Devi Ram Aryal, Chair Prachanda said that Nepal's model helipad has been constructed.

Saying that Gulmi's helipad is better than the helipads built in different places of the country and he expressed his belief that the helipad will be of great help in the rescue and relief of locals in case of disasters and emergencies.

The locals said that this inauguration has allowed them to directly talk with the Maoist Center chair. This is the second time Prachanda has visited the Gulmi district. 

This opportunity gave people's representatives and heads and representatives of political parties in the district directly take stock of the development works built within the municipality.

According to the rural municipality, Prachanda will inaugurate the newly constructed main administrative building of Malika rural municipality, eventually. 

There is a wide public participation to attend the event in line with Prachanda's address in the opening session. 

According to CPN Maoist Center Gulmi, after that, Prachanda is scheduled to inaugurate the Martyr's Park built in Dhurkot Rural municipality today.
