By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, Feb. 13: Nepathya is all set to embark on a musical tour across Australia, marking its first international tour of 2025.
According to a press statement issued by Nepalaya, the month-long tour will cover seven Australian cities.
The tour will begin on March 3 in Canberra and conclude on March 29 in Sydney. In between, the band will perform in Perth, Brisbane, Hobart, Adelaide, and Melbourne.
This tour marks Nepathya’s seventh visit to Australia.
“Nepathya has been performing both nationally and internationally since its inception, but it was Australia that first provided the band with a distinct platform,” recalls lead singer and frontman Amrit Gurung.
A total of 14 members, including six band members and eight technical and management staff will travel to Australia this time.
“As always, we have carefully selected songs for our performances in Australia, and this time, we are preparing a setlist different from previous tours,” adds Amrit.
On stage, Amrit will be joined by Dhruva Lama on drums, Subin Shakya on bass guitar, Niraj Gurung on guitar, Shanti Rayamajhi on madal, and Dinesh Raj Regmi on keyboards.
This year also marks the 25th anniversary of Nepathya’s association with Nepalaya, the management team handling the band. Over the years, Nepathya has performed 88 times across 46 cities of 17 countries.
