Nawalpur (Nawalparasi), Feb 11: A fast charging station for charging electric vehicles has come into operation at Kawasoti-11 in Nawalparasi (Bardaghat-Susta East).
The charging station has facility
to charge five small and large vehicles at the same time. A local Bishnu
Adhikari said he set up the charging station on his five kattha of land with
the support of the Nepal Electricity Authority. A total of Rs 10 million was
invested for the same.
He shared that he has also set a
plan of operating 'refreshment centre' for drivers. The charging station has
the facility of charging electric vehicles for 24 hours in the fast charging
station, the only charge station established along the114-km Narayangadh-Butwal
road section.
Adhikari mentioned that in average
around 50 vehicles can be charged daily at the station, but problem has
surfaced due to the delay in expansion of the road.
They are also planning to add 10
more nozzles once the Narayangadh-Butwal road expansion task completes, he
