Kathmandu, Feb 3: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said there is no reason for Nepali to lag behind provided that all contributed to the cause of the nation with confidence.

During an interaction organised by the Phoenix Inspiration and Imperial World School here on the occasion of the Shree Panchami festival on Monday, the Prime Minister expressed a resolution for enhancing infrastructural development and producing world competitive youth force by ensuring quality education for all.

"Nepali youth talents have contributed to making other nations. Now our attention should be on building our own nation. Still, we have 10 million youths within the country. We are capable of making our country on our own," he said during a conversation with students, insisting on poverty alleviation and the promotion of national independence and prosperity.

Stating that Nepal was never colonized, he described Nepal as a heritage of knowledge and spiritual significance, enriched with the glorious stories of our ancestors. The Prime Minister said that love for the nation, integrity, dedication and exploration of opportunities will lead us to success.

In his response to a query from students, the Prime Minister said Nepal continues to establish friendly relations with China, India and other various nations and his recent official visit to the northern neighbour marked various agreements for bilateral cooperation including the agreement on Belt and Road Initiative Framework.

When asked about his biggest dream for Nepal’s welfare, the Prime Minister said, "It is a prosperous Nepal and happy Nepali." (RSS)
