Govt. forms talks team to address cable car related problem

Kathmandu, Feb 3: The government has formed a team to hold dialogue with stakeholders in order to resolve problems surfaced in course of construction of cable car at Pathibhara (Mukkumlung) area of Taplejung.    


A press statement issued by the Home Ministry on Sunday late night reads that the talks team was formed under coordination of Joint-Secretary of the Home Ministry, Prem Prasad Bhattarai, comprising representatives of Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration, Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation and Ministry of Urban Development.   

 
Joint-Secretary and Spokesperson of the Home Ministry, Ram Chandra Tiwari, shared that the Home Ministry appealed to the agitating side to withdraw its protest programmes and support solve the problems through dialogue.    


The talks team would initiate its activities immediately and the Home Ministry also requested the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration to take forward the initiative in order to resolve the cable car-related problem, reads the press statement.  (RSS)
