Dhangadhi, Feb 2: The DCS Dhangadhi has emerged victorious in the second match held on Sunday in Dhangadhi under the Arjun Trophy National Cricket Competition.
The tournament is being held at Phapla Cricket Stadium in Dhangadhi.
In its first victory, the team DCS Dhangadhi defeated Ghodaghodi-11 Sukhad by 69 runs.
The team Ghodaghodi-11 Sukhad managed just 80 runs in the 16.5 overs despite its efforts to meet the target of 150 runs for the win.
For Dhangadhi, Lalit Rajbanshi took three wickets and Milan Bohara and Rahul Bhandari took equal two wickets.
Batting first winning the toss, the DCS Dhangadhi managed 149 runs in 20 overs with the loss of nine wickets.
Organizer Go Dreamers said that the winner of the tournament will get Rs 1 million and the first runner up will get Rs 500,000.
Likewise, the best player will be given Rs 100,000 in cash while best batter, best bowler and emerging cricketer will get Rs 50,000 each.
Likewise, man of the match from each game would receive Rs 10,000. Eight teams are competing for the title of the tournament.(RSS)
