Five Nepalis returning from Prayagraj Mahakumbh died in road mishap

Jaleshwor, Feb 1: Five Nepali pilgrims have died in a road accident while travelling back home after taking holy bath in Prayagraj Mahakumbh, Uttar Pradesh, India.     

The District Police Office, Mahottari, confirmed that the road accident occurred on Saturday afternoon at Madhubani district of India near Mahottari district.     

The deceased have been identified as Bal Krishna Jha, 60, his spouse Indu Devi, 50, and Mantaran Devi, 50, of Mahottari district and Archana Jha, 30, of Dhnusha district.     

Likewise, the driver of the Scorpio jeep from Siraha district also died.     

The police said that four persons of a single family have sustained serious injuries in the accident and receiving treatment in the health facilities in India's Muzaffarpur.     

It is said that the jeep (BR 32P A 4661) met the accident on the Madapur road of Sadarthana area in Muzaffarpur.(RSS)
