Building public trust imperative, NC general secretary says

Chitwan, Feb 1: Nepali Congress General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma has said that the leaders should perform their roles to build public trust.     

Concluding the party's 100-day campaign organized by NC Chitwan district committee in Bharatpur on Saturday, the NC general secretary stated that building confidence of people from all walks of life towards political party and country was necessary.     

"People are disappointed now. In such a time, dissemination of positive messages about the opportunities in the nation and progress is required," Sharma shared.     

He also asked the party leaders and cadres to share the best performances of the party and the government among the people to build up rays of hope. "The NC conducted the 100-day campaign also for the same purpose," he said, adding that the nation will win if we could work for nation's development, progress and prosperity.     

NC leaders Madhu Acharya, Govinda Bhattarai, Rajeshwor Khanal, Uma Regmi, Tek Prasad Gurung, Indra Baniya, Subajkrishna Baniya, Jit Narayan Shrestha, Bikas Koirala and others addressed the event calling for the party's organizational strengthening.(RSS)
