Nepal Women lose to Thailand by 4 wickets in Tri-Nation Series

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Feb 1: Nepal Women were beaten by Thailand by 4 wickets in the Women's T20I Tri-Series at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur on Saturday.

Nepal had posted a target of 102 runs earlier which Thailand achieved in 19 overs with a loss of 6 wickets.

To make their country win Thailand's Nannapat Koncharoenkai hit a half-century and scored 60 runs, Suwanan Khiaoto scored 14 runs, Naruemol Chaiwai 13, Chanida Sutthiruang 7, and Nattaya Boochatham, Aphisara Suwanchonrathi, Thipatcha Putthawong and Phannita Maya scored a single run each.  

Nepal's Manisha Upadhayay took two wickets whereas Kabita Kunwar, Kabita Joshi and  Rubina Chhetry took a single wicket each but couldn't defend the total.
