Man dies in rhino attack in Chitwan

By Basanta Parajuli, Narayangadh, Jan.22: A 56-year-old man of Madi Municipality-7 in Chitwan district succumbed to rhino attack today.     

 A man who was attacked and injured by a rhinoceros near Dhurva Post in Chitwan National Park died on Wednesday morning in the course of treatment.

According to District Police Office Chitwan, 55-year-old Shivraj Bhandari, resident of Kirtanpur of Madi-7, Chitwan, and currently living in  Bikash Chowk at Bharatpur Municipality- 5, died after being attacked by a rhinoceros.

He was attacked at 2:30 PM on January 16 while traveling to Madi from Bharatpur on a motorbike (Ba Pra 06003 Pa 4339). 

He died at 6:20 AM while undergoing treatment at the Chitwan Medical College.
