India thrash Malaysia by 10 wickets in U-19 Women's World Cup

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 21: India thrashed Malaysia by 10 wickets in the ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup at YSD-UKM Cricket Oval, Bangi, Malaysia on Tuesday.

India achieved the target of 32 runs in just 2.5 overs without losing a wicket with the help of Trisha Gongadi's 27 and Kamalini G's 4 runs.

In the first inning, Malaysia scored a total of 31 runs before being all out in 14.3 overs. 

No Malaysian batsmen scored runs in double digits where Nur Aliya and Husna scored 5 runs each, Suabika and Ain scored 3 wickets each, Nuriman 2 runs and Nur Dania Syuhada and Marsya took one runs each. 

To limit Malaysia in just 31 runs Indian bawler Vaishnavi Sharm took 5 wickets alone giving 5 runs in a 4 overs spell with one maiden over. 

Similarly, Aayushi Shukla took three wickets whereas Joshitha V J took a wicket.
