By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 20: Nepal has posted a target of 74 runs against Scotland in the U-19 Women's World Cup match at YSD-UKM Cricket Oval, Bangi, Malaysia on Monday.
Batting first Nepal scored 73 runs before being all out in 18.5 overs.
Nepal's Puja Mahato scored 27 runs, Sabitri Dhami 10 runs, Anu Kadayat 5, Jyotsnika Marasini and Kiran Kunwar scored 4 runs each, Alisha Yadav 3, Krishma Gurung and Riya Sharma scored 2 runs each, and Sana Praveen and Seemana KC scored a single run each.
To wrap Nepal in a slim total Scotland's Maisie Maceira took 5 wickets by giving just 15 runs in 3.5 overs. Similarly, Ammy Baldie and Nayma Sheikh took two wickets each. Kirsty McColl took a single wicket.
