By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 18: Lumbini Province Women registered their second win defeating Karnali Province Women by 71 runs in the Prime Minister Cup Women's National Cricket at Fapla Cricket Ground, Dhangadhi on Saturday.
Batting First Lumbini Women scored a total of 126 runs in the stipulated 20 overs by losing 8 wickets.
In response following the target, Karnali Women scored 55 runs before being all out in 13 overs.
To wrap Karnali in 55 runs Lumbini's bawler Saraswati Pun took four wickets by giving 11 runs in 4 overs spell.
Similarly, Maneesha Rana, Ashna Chaudhary and Madhu DC took a single wicket each.
Karnali's Rama Budhathoki scored 20 runs but other batsmen couldn't score runs in double digits.
Karnali lost its 5 wickets in the last 8 balls.
In the first inning, Lumbini managed a total of 126 runs with the help of a not-out half-century of Ranju Shrestha. Shrestha scored 51 runs.
Karnali's bawler Anju Gurung took 3 wickets alone whereas Rama Budhathoki took two wickets. Similarly, Dikshya Puri and Rashmi Khadka took a single wicket each.
On Friday, Lumbini Women defeated Gandaki by 6 wickets.
