Lumbini Women beat Gandaki by 6 wickets in PM Cup Cricket

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Jan 17: Lumbini Province Women registered the 6-wicket victory over Gandaki Province Women in the Prime Minister Cup Women's National Cricket Tournament at Fapla Cricket Ground, Dhangadi on Friday.

Batting first, Gandaki scored a total of 97 runs in the stipulated 20 overs in a loss of four wickets where Salina Sen scored 33 runs, Rekha Tamang 25, Dhan Chhetri hit 8, Chandramaya Bara hit 7, Srijana Poudel 2 and Shreya Shahi scored 1 run. Lumbini bawler Maneesha Rana took 2 wickets whereas Angee Pathak and Madhu DC took a single wicket each.

In response, Lumbini achieved the target making 98 runs in the 16.2 overs in a loss of 4 wickets.

To achieve their team an easy win Lumbini's Saraswati Pun scored 31 runs, Ranju Shrestha scored 20, Angee Pathak scored 18, Shruti Budathoki scored 9 and Anita Chaudhary 1 run. 

Gandaki bawler Apkshya Budhathoki took two wickets.
