Bird census impending at Rara
By Hari Krishna Aidi, Mugu, Jan,13: The bird census has failed to be conducted at the Rara Lake wetland area.
The census is being held in collaboration with the Bird Education Society and Nepalese Ornithological Union from January 7 but the bird census is still to take off at Rara because of a lack of skilled manpower.
According to the Chief of Rara National Park Office, Mahesh Neupane, the nationwide bird census is being held from January 7 in the National Park Office of other districts
He said that the census is yet to be started at Rara because of a lack of manpower.
He said that bird census will take place from January 15.
