One dead in Kapilvastu road mishap

By Janu Pandey, Kapilvastu, Jan.13: A person died when a truck hit a motorcycle in Kapilvastu District on Monday.  

According to the Police Inspector of Police of Area Police Office Gorusinge, Kapilvastu, Bir Bahadur Sunar, 20-year-old Arjun Tharu of Wadahara-2, Buddhabhumi Municipality died when an accident took place at Wadahara-2, Buddhabhumi Municipality at 7:30 on Monday. 

A truck (Ba Pra 03-001 Kha 2220) en route from west to east hit the motorcycle (Lu 91 Pa 3143) that was coming from the opposite direction. 

Tharu was taken to the Kapilvastu Hospital for treatment. Doctors declared him dead on arrival. 

According to the Police Inspector of the District Police Office, Kapilvastu, Pankaj Chudali, the 37-year-old truck driver Jaya Ram Timilsina of Ratnanagar-2, Chitwan, is being detained by the police.
