Sunsari, Jan 5: Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh said Sher Bahadur Deuba will become the next Prime Minister after the tenure of the incumbent Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

Speaking to a program organized by the Nepali Congress at the Dharan Sub-Metropolitan today, DPM Singh said Nepali Congress President and the former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba will become the next Prime Minister in accordance with the agreement of the Nepali Congress and UML.  He emphasized that there is no alternative to the current alliance.

He vowed that the current alliance will remain intact until the forthcoming election and he claimed that both the Nepali Congress and CPN (UML) will sincerely implement the agreement.

Meanwhile, DPM Singh added that both parties are well-known for being pivotal competitors in spite of an alliance at this point.

DPM Singh said, “We are moving forward to complete all the development work which remained unfinished in the previous government”.

Similarly, he also informed that discussions are being held across all the parties for amendment in the constitution as an amendment in the constitution is not possible with the desire of any one party.

The current government has been putting its effort into completing the projects that had remained unfinished during the tenure of the previous government.

The long-term desire of the people for economic prosperity and development is a primary priority of the government, according to DPM Singh.
