Newly-appointed PSBA executive chair Dr Bista takes oath of office
Kathmandu, Dec 16: Minister for Communication and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung, administered oath of office and secrecy to newly-appointed executive chairperson of Public Service Broadcasting Agency (PSBA), Dr Mahendra Bista.
A cabinet meeting held on Friday took the decision in this regard. Earlier, he was appointed as executive chairperson of the Nepal Television.
The government had introduced Public Service Broadcasting Act few months ago to jointly operate Nepal Television and Radio Nepal. As per the Act, Dr Bista has been appointed to the post of executive chair of the agency. (RSS)
