NPL: Chitwan posts 181-run target for Janakpur

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec 14: Chitwan Rhinos posted a target of 181 runs for Janakpur Bolts in the ongoing Nepal Premier League (NPL) on Saturday at Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur.

After winning a toss batting first, Chitwan managed a total of 180 runs in the stipulated 20 overs in 5 wickets.

To pile a challenging total, Chitwan's Captain Kushal Malla hit a half-century making 72 runs. Similarly, Ravi Bopara scored 44 runs, Hassan Eisakhil scored 28 runs, Santosh Karki 14 runs, Sohail Tanvir 5, Bipin Rawal 3 and Basil Hameed scored 2 runs.

Janakpur's bowler Lalit Rajbanshi took two wickets, and Harsh Thaker, James Neesham and Mohammad Mohsin took a single wicket each.
