CPN (Maoist Center)'s Ghimire elected ward chair of Belaka Municipality-9
By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec 2: CPN (Maoist Center) candidate Bharat Ghimire has been elected ward chair of Belaka Municipality of Udaypur district with 559 votes defeating his closest rival Mohan Khadka of CPN (UML) who secured 525 votes.
According to Election Commission, Navaraj Basnet of Nepal Congress got 404 votes and stood third in the by-election held on Sunday.
