28 injured in school bus accident

Bharatpur, Nov. 23: A school bus met an accident at Drabyatar in Kalika Municipality-9, Chitwan, on Saturday afternoon. The bus (Madhes Province 03-011 Ka 2677) of Chitraban Secondary School from Padampur in Kalika Municipality was carrying picnic goers from Upardanggadhi, the District Police Office said.     

Deputy Superintendent of Police of District Police Office, Chitwan, Gyan Kumar Mahato said that 27 students and a driver were injured in the accident.     

Of the injured, the situation of a student is critical.     

Mahato shared that 22 injured ones are receiving treatment at Chitwan Medical College and six others in another medical college.     

The bus was carrying 32 persons including 30 students.(RSS)
