Possibility of light rainfall in hills today

Kathmandu, Nov 9: Light rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at a few places of hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudur Pashchim Provinces and at one or two parts of hilly regions of rest of the provinces.     

This is due to the partial effect of westerly winds coupled with local winds active across the country, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division. The weather today is partly cloudy in Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali and Sudur Pashchim Provinces along with the hilly regions of the country and partly cloudy to mainly fair in rest of the country.     

Later tonight, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly areas and partly cloudy to mainly fair in the rest of the country. Light rain with thunder and lightning is likely to occur at one or two places of hilly regions of Koshi Province and Gandaki Province.(RSS)
