50 per cent grant in wheat to farmer

 By Ganesh Khanal, Arghakanchi, Nov 4: Sandhikharka municipality has provided 50 per cent grant to famer in wheat for the purpose of seed. 

It has distributed 120 quintal wheat of high quality breed to famers. 

The chief administrative officer,  Khimananda Bhusal informed that 90 quintal ‘Gautam’ and 30 quintal ‘Shorgadwari’ variety of wheat has been provided to famers on the basis of application by Krishi Samuha Sakari (Agriculture Cooperative Group) and private firms.  

There is projection of growth in production with this high verity seed of wheat. 

The Municipality chef Krishna Prasad Shrestha has informed that this project is included in the policy and program of municipality with the aim to increase agriculture production.
