Nepal Sambat is the Sambat of Nepali soil: PM Oli

Kathmandu, Nov.2: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that Nepal Sambat is the Sambat of Nepali soil. Sambat,  is a period marked by distinctive character or reckoned from a fixed point or event.

Addressing a program that was organized at the Mangalbazar, Lalitpur on the occasion of Nepal Samabt 1145, PM Oli emphasized that the Nepali Sambat which we have been following is original not imported from anywhere, therefore, this should be promoted and protected. 

He expressed confidence that the government will make a proper decision regarding the demand for a mother tongue curriculum for secondary-level optional subjects as well, according to the Prime Minister's Secretariat.
