AI needs to be used to make life easier: PM Oli

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct.27: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the government will work on how to use science and technology to make life simple and easier.

In a conversation with experts at the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence (AI) organized by the Youth Federation today, PM Oli emphasized that AI needs to be used for development, positivity, and an easy life.

He said, "We are thirsty for development. For that, let's bring the concept of Digital Nepal. We need to make a positive use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Awareness and legal measures need to be taken into account to prevent side effects caused by misusing AI."

PM Oli said that preparations are underway to bring policies and plans related to AI.

The PM said, "We need to improve the status of students failing in SEE. Our focus is on how AI can be used in such fields and how to make Nepal a hub for AI education."
