Mahottari, Oct 25: Vice President of the Nepali Congress, Purna Bahadur Khadka, has said NC's struggle since its establishment is for an improved democracy.

Inaugurating the two-day orientation organized by the district chapter of NC at Jaleshwor on Friday, Vice President Khadka made it clear that although the struggles waged over times took diverse forms, they were targeted for the renewed democracy.

"NC was established to jettison Rana regime and establish democracy in the country," he reminded, adding that these eight decades were invested for citizen's democratic rights and their institutionalization.

Khadka argued that NC's focus was on institutional development of the federal democratic republic in the recent decade.

The orientation is attended by the office bearers and members of the district working committee and local levels of the party. Dr Krishna Prasad Paudel, Nanu Bastola, and Dr Achyut Wagle are the trainers in the event. (RSS)
