Dhumba Lake attracts tourists with its beauty (Photo Feature)

By Thakur Prasad Acharya, Myagdi, Oct.25: With the onset of the touring season, Mustang is filled with domestic and international tourists. The Dhumba Lake that lies near Jomsom Bazzar has attracted many tourists to its beauty. 

Hundreds of tourists visit the area to take in the view of snowcapped mountains and to enjoy the science beauty of Dhumba Lake. 

The Dhumba Lake lies 15 minutes distance from Jomsom bazaar at Gharapjhong Rural municipality-5.

Physical infrastructure has been built around the lake and fine dining is also available there.

the lake is heart-shaped in regal blue attracting many to make TikTok, videos and click pictures.

Pramod Raj Regmi of Parbat said that he visited to take in the beauty of Dhumba Lake, which is a mine of natural beauty. 

Ward chair of Gharapjhong Rural municipality-5, Pradeep Thakali said that the majority of tourists who visit upper Mustang, Korala, and Muktinath, reach Dhumba Lake. 

He said that the number of tourists visiting the lake has increased with the well-developed road from Jomsom to Thini to Dhumba Lake, infrastructures, and hotels in the area. 

Dhumba Lake lies 3,000 meters above sea meters at 160 meters length 130 meters width, and 10 meters depth. It takes 15 minutes to make a complete round of the lake.
