Gold price sets new record, reaches 165,000 per tola

Kathmandu, Oct 20: The price of gold in the local market has set new record today.    


According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Associations, the price of gold has increased by Rs 600 per tola (11.6638 grams) and reached Rs 165,000 in the domestic market today.    


According to the Federation, hallmark gold was traded at Rs 164,400 per tola on Friday.    


Similarly, the price of silver has increased by Rs 95 per tola. Silver, which was traded at Rs 1,980 per tola on Friday, is being traded at Rs 2,075 today, the Federation said. (RSS)
