DPM Singh for making local infrastructure development projects effective

blog

Kathmandu, Oct 18: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Urban Development, Prakash Man Singh, has underlined the need for making effective the local infrastructure development projects.

Participating in a review programme organized at infrastructure development project office in Lalitpur on Friday, DPM Singh garnered information about the progress on infrastructures from the project chiefs of the seven provinces.

DPM Singh urged the programme attendants to identify the problems of project implementation and make the work further effective. Interaction should lead to action but not for mere discussions, he reminded.

The project chiefs of all seven provinces had briefed about the progress and hindrances of the development projects in their respective provinces.

Secretary at the Ministry Maniram Gelal said the review meeting was fruitful to clarify the ongoing progress and hindrances on the development projects and the projects' expectations from ministry side.(RSS)
