4,331 people rescued successfully, 24 missing: PM Oli

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct 1: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has informed that the government rescued 4,331 people across the country from the flooding disaster of  September 27 and 28. 

In a Press Conference in the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Tuesday at Singha Durbar, the PM said that the government operated at its full capacity during the national disaster inundated by incessant rain.

In a press statement read by Chief Secretary Eaknarayan Aryal today, it has further informed that 224 lost lives, 24 were missing, 158 were injured and 4331 were rescued from the disaster.
