30 home swept in Makawanpur, 28 submerged

By TRN Online, Makwanpur, Sept 28: 30 homes and huts have been swept due to flood in Indrasarowar Municipality-3, of Sisneri Bazar in Makawanpur. 

Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police, Sisneri Police Station Bhojraj Neupane has informed that homes around the surrounding including the local police office have been swept away.

The police have informed that the water level all over has risen as the two doors of Kulekhani dam had been open today due to continuous rain.

He however informed that local people have been safe and shifted to a safe area.  

 The police have informed there is an obstruction on the Hetuda-Kathmandu highway. 

The Chief District Officer, Makwanpur Thirtha Raj Chiluwal has informed that the task of clearing the road obstructed by a landslide has been started. He informed that security has been in a state of urgency at the moment.
